Thomas Sharp

Thomas Sharp is a Facilities Planner at Hitachi Rail since November 2021, responsible for coordinating contractor attendance for maintenance at Craigentinny and Bounds Green depots while collaborating with the Health and Safety department on new initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Farid Hillend Engineering Limited, where a multi-disciplined team of 25 operators was managed, and as a Team Leader and Production Manager at TXM Projects, overseeing vehicle building teams and production processes. Thomas has also held logistics and vehicle building positions at TXM Projects and BOMBARDIER, ensuring efficient material management and participation in high-profile projects. Thomas holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University, completed in 2012.
