Steve Veerman

Steve Veerman has worked in the technology industry since 2004, when they began as a Web Developer at Mohawk College. In 2006, they moved to University of Western Ontario as a Web Application Developer, and in 2007 they were a Computer Systems Analyst - Consultant at Qualcomm. In 2009, they joined Postmedia Network Inc. as a Lead Developer and in 2012 they became a Full-Stack Developer at Desalt Inc. In 2014, they worked as a Developer & IT Consultant at Deedatum Inc. and in 2015 they were a Technical Lead & Chief Technology Officer at Grocera and Chief Technology Officer & Software Lead at HITCH. In 2016, they were a Consultant at Thomson Reuters. Throughout their career, Steve Veerman has worked on projects involving software development, systems integration, support, market research, and cloud integration.

Steve Veerman has an impressive educational background. Steve holds a Master's Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computing and Information Technology from McMaster University, a Computer Science Technology diploma in Software Engineering (Co-op) from Mohawk College, and a Business diploma in Marketing from Mohawk College. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) in January of 2016, and a Technical Sales Certificate from the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre in October of 2015.
