Right from the start, Bob Hitchcock recognized the need for rural towns in Central Florida to have clean, well-stocked, quality products and service driven food stores. In 1945, he made his dream a reality when he opened his first store offering only the finest quality foods money could buy with good old fashioned customer service. Hitchcock’s Markets continued to grow over the years to the 12 current store locations across the state.
