Rafael Rivera

Rafael Rivera is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in telecommunications and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Carrier Technologies Management at Apple since August 2009, Rafael has also been participating in the HITEC Emerging Executive Program as a Fellow since March 2022, focusing on developing future Hispanic technology executives. Prior roles include Engineering Manager and Product and Approval Manager at Infosonics, Supervisor of Telecommunications and Test Engineer at Samsung Electronics, and Associate Engineer at Amgen. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, earned between 1997 and 2002.
