Jan Helland Eide

Mr. Eide joined HitecVision in 2021 from Scatec ASA, where he was Vice President Project Development and Country Manager Vietnam. He brings extensive knowledge of and experience from the global renewable energy sector.

Mr. Eide has played a key role in building Scatec’s presence in Southeast Asia. Most recently he was overall responsible for all project development in the region, ranging from country strategy and entry, project origination (including partnerships and M&A agreements), project development (incl. land and offtake agreements), as well as project structuring until construction start.

He has also been closely involved in Scatec’s broader strategy development over the last years, most recently in taking a leading role in shaping the company’s transformation from a pure-play solar PV company to a broad renewable energy company across emerging markets.

Prior to Scatec, Mr. Eide worked as an associate at McKinsey & Co.

Mr. Eide holds an MSc from the Technology & Policy program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from INSA de Toulouse in France.
