Kyle Pelaez

Kyle Pelaez has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to 2022. In 2014, they were a Research Intern at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where they learned Image processing research methods and techniques. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Academic Tutor. From 2017 to 2019, they held multiple positions at different organizations. Kyle was a Team Manager at the DLSU Solar Car Project, a Business Process Intern at Aboitiz Power Corporation, an Operations Manager and Engineering Consultant at OneWatt, and a Supply Chain Analyst at Shell. At Shell, they reduced 600+ backlog orders to 50 in 1 month through process efficiency studies and implementing sustainable solutions. Kyle also developed an internal management system to effectively increasing payment on time from ~70% to 95%. Currently, they are an Operations and Amazon 1P Channel Manager and Project Manager at HitLights.

Kyle Pelaez has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from De La Salle University, which they obtained between 2015 and 2020. In 2019, they participated in an Exchange Program at National Chin-Yi University of Technology, where they studied Additive Manufacturing, CNC, and Computer Aided Design. Prior to this, they attended Philippine Science High School from 2011 to 2015. Kyle has also obtained several certifications, including Computer Aided Design Basics from Onshape, a PTC Technology in 2022, Getting Grounded on Analytics from SPARTA Project in 2020, Six Sigma Principles from University System of Georgia in 2020, AI for Everyone from deeplearning.ai in 2020, and Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management from University of Virginia in 2020.
