Robert Wilson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, photography, and digital content creation. Currently serving as a Project Officer for Public Transport & GO-HI at HITRANS since July 2023, Robert has also worked as a Freelance Photographer for Wilson Photography since October 2018. Robert's previous roles at Glasgow Caledonian University included Digital Content Creator, Admissions Officer, Recruitment & Events Administrator, and Photographer, focusing on campus events. Additional experience includes positions as Project Support Officer at Inclusive Images, Freelance Photojournalist at Newsquest Specialist Media Ltd and Scottish Catholic Observer, and Freelance Photographer at Clyde and Forth Press Ltd. Robert has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Glasgow Caledonian University, completed in 2016.

HITRANS
The Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership (HITRANS) is the statutory regional transport partnership covering Eilean Siar (Western Isles), Orkney, Highland, Moray and most of the Argyll and Bute area (Helensburgh and Lomond is covered by SPT). We’re working hard with Councils, the Scottish Government, Transport Scotland, HIE, transport operators and other stakeholders to improve transport services and infrastructure in the north of Scotland and on routes to the Highlands and Islands.
