Stuart Riley

Stuart Riley is the Group CIO of HSBC, where they lead a global team of approximately 50,000 technologists and oversee all technology activities with a focus on digital banking and engineering excellence. Previously, they held key positions at Citigroup, including Co-CIO and Global Head of Institutional Client Group Technology, and worked at Deutsche Bank as the Head of Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Technology. Stuart also founded TAG Consulting and has served as an advisor at Hivenet and a board member at Quantexa. They are an active member of BP’s Digital Advisory Council, focused on leveraging digital solutions for sustainability. Stuart earned their degree from Bournemouth University from 1992 to 1996.
