Welcome to Hive Digital Media, a dynamic force in the digital landscape born from the rich heritage of Caxton’s long-standing and locally entrenched publications. At Hive Digital Media, we embody the concept of a collective consciousness—a hive mind—where our community of passionate professionals come together to think, create, and act as one cohesive unit.

Our journey began over a decade ago with the inception of NAB Digital by the Caxton group in 2011, marking our entry into the digital media space. This initial step grew stronger with the acquisition of Habari Media, South Africa's leading digital media sales house at the time. The strategic merger of NAB and Habari Media in 2013 gave birth to Spark Media, a robust print and digital sales house. Building on this foundation, we evolved into Hive Digital Media, a specialised division dedicated to digital media and marketing services.

At Hive Digital Media, our "honey" is the deep connection we foster between businesses and their audiences. Through our collaborative approach, we partner with clients to co-create strategies that ensure their growth and success. Our expertise spans audience connection, marketing services, SEO, conversion optimisation, and technical support, all aimed at helping businesses thrive by reaching the right people.

Hive Digital Media represents Caxton-owned digital platforms across retail, local news, and video sectors. Our solutions are available in premium and programmatic formats, leveraging strategic targeting to connect brands with relevant audiences in a brand-safe environment. Utilising our advanced data management platform, we deliver precise and impactful campaigns. As a Shared Services division of the Caxton Group, we also offer marketing services, technical support, and development expertise to our partners across the network.

Join us at Hive Digital Media, where we amplify your reach and empower your business through the power of collective intelligence and digital innovation
