I thought that all honey tasted ‘like honey’ – same flavour, same textures just because that was the way I was seeing it in shops.

How wrong I was!  It was discovering how naturally different every honey was that  sparked my love and appreciation of nature's diversity: every honey, hide, fleece and tree is different reflecting the life and environment that created it.

I am passionate about championing against a culture where natural differences are ironed out so everything looks and tastes the same. It's not just boring but it disconnects us from nature and everything that tells us the story of its provenance through its textures, marks, and taste.

I want to be part of the fight against lazy sustainability, connect producer to consumers and all of us to our planet. Giving people the opportunity to choose nature over the homogeneity.

And so Hive & Keeper was born.  A curation of British limited editions, each naturally different.  We started by championing British bees and small scale beekeepers and now, through H&K Lifestyle, we champion British natural resources designing and producing our own brand of homewares in collaboration with British artisans and heritage industries.

We keep provenance, great design, the natural world and treading lightly on the planet at the heart of all we do. Keeping it natural and keeping it British.
