Ben Stapleton

Stapleton is a recognized sustainability leader who focuses on building teams and designing programs to deliver impactful results. They are the Executive Director of USGBC California, where the work is centered on coordinating an ecosystem that uses the built environment as the entry point to a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable California. They previously launched and managed the La Kretz Innovation Campus and led operations, finance, and major program initiatives for LACI. They currently serve on several boards, including as Senior Fellow at USC's Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, Sustainability Council Member for Los Angeles Metro, and Chair of the Board of Directors for FASTLinkDTLA and Hive Lighting. They earned an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
