Frederick Powell

Frederick Powell has a diverse work experience history. Frederick is currently working as an Operations Manager at HIVED since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Weezy as a Multi-Site Manager from September 2021 to January 2022, as a Store Operations Manager from April 2021 to September 2021, and as a Shift Manager from January 2021 to April 2021. Frederick has also worked as a self-employed Russian-English Translator for a book on WW2 Arctic Convoys from July 2019 to January 2021, where they translated technical and archaic vocabulary and analyzed top-secret Soviet documentation. Frederick was a Project Coordinator at Russo-British Chamber of Commerce from January 2020 to July 2020. In September 2019, they worked as an Assistant Tour Manager at Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra, where they assisted and translated for Russian and English musicians, conducted interviews, and handled logistical arrangements. Frederick also worked as a Researcher at MANSFIELD ADVISORS LLP in August 2019, conducting market research on veterinary services in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Frederick started their career as a Summer Intern for Clare Short MP at the House of Commons in June 2008, where they gained experience in administrative duties and handling confidential documents.

Frederick Powell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Russian Studies with a political-science track from UCL SSEES. Frederick attended UCL SSEES from 2015 to 2019. In November 2017, they also obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from THE TEFL ACADEMY - Leading EFL Teacher Trainer Provider.
