Simon Mildren

Simon Mildren has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Simon is currently the CEO of HiveKeepers, a leading record-keeping system for beekeepers worldwide, where they focus on proactive beekeeping practices. Additionally, they are a Presenter for The Hive Buddies Show. Prior to their current roles, Simon worked as a Senior Station Officer at Fire Rescue Victoria and the Country Fire Authority (CFA), providing emergency response leadership and demonstrating a modern and unique approach to leadership. Simon also served as a Director at Apea Ski Club and worked as a Training Officer at Victoria State Emergency Service. Simon has a passion for emergency response and beekeeping, and their experience showcases their expertise in these areas.

Simon Mildren attended various educational institutions and programs throughout their life. In 1999, they enrolled at Deakin University and pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management. Simon successfully completed their degree in 2001. In 2006, Simon attended Swinburne University of Technology and obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.

In 2016, Simon joined the Country Fire Authority and pursued a Certificate IV in Public Safety (Firefighting Supervision). Simon completed this program in 2018, acquiring valuable skills in firefighting supervision.

In 2019, Simon further enriched their education by participating in several programs. Firstly, they enrolled in the La Trobe Accelerator Program at La Trobe University, where they focused on developing their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge. Additionally, they joined DifferenThinking and completed the Founders Education Program, specializing in People, Culture, and Leadership. Lastly, they attended Chisholm Institute for a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), enhancing their ability to train and assess individuals effectively.
