Scott Goldsmith

Scott Goldsmith is the SVP & General Counsel at HiveWatch. Scott has extensive experience in commercial litigation and class action defense, with an emphasis on marketing and privacy litigation, regulatory and employment investigations, and complex business litigation. Prior to joining HiveWatch, Scott was a partner at FisherBroyles, LLP, where they advised companies on marketing, e-commerce, privacy, and consumer protection regulations. Scott also served as outside general counsel for privately held companies. Before FisherBroyles, Scott was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where they led the national Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) practice. Scott began their legal career as an associate attorney at Severson & Werson and Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP before serving as a Deputy District Attorney with the San Diego District Attorney's office.

Scott Goldsmith completed a Bachelor of Science at UC Berkeley, followed by a Doctor of Law at the University of San Diego School of Law. Scott also completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General, at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
