Mark Schaer

Mark Schaer is a seasoned creative leader with extensive experience in branding, strategic planning, and design across various industries. Currently serving as Creative Director at HK Lighting since October 2022, Mark previously held key positions including Creative Director for Global Marketing at Linksys and Creative Director at DMF Lighting, where innovative branding initiatives were implemented to enhance market presence. As the founder of Schaer Design, Mark provided creative strategy for diverse companies, while earlier roles at agencies such as SALT Branding, Fluid Inc., and Razorfish involved high-profile client projects for renowned brands. Mark’s academic background includes a BFA in Fine Art/Design from ArtCenter College of Design, further complemented by studies at the School of Visual Arts and Rhode Island School of Design.
