John Quinn has had a long and distinguished career in the field of healthcare and consulting. John started their career in 1976 as an Area Systems Engineer at Data General. John then moved on to Professional Healthcare Systems in 1986, where they held the role of VP Development & Support until 2002. In 1987, they joined Health Level Seven, Inc. as CTO Emeritus, and remained in that position until 2006. From 1993 to 2000, they worked at Ernst & Young as a Principal. In 2000, they joined Capgemini Consulting as a Principal and stayed there until 2006. Finally, in 2006, they joined Accenture as HL7 CTO Emeritus, where they are currently still working.
John Quinn's education history is as follows:
From 1973 to 1975, they attended Loyola Marymount University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (MSEE).
John also studied at Loyola Marymount University from 1970 to 1975, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (BSEE & MSEE). John'sfocus during this time was on Electronic Engineering with an emphasis on Digital Design and Computer Science.
In 1969, John Quinn attended Long Beach City College, studying Electrical Engineering for one year.
Before that, from 1967 to 1969, they attended St. John's Seminary College, where they studied Philosophy.
John began their education at Our Lady Queen of the Angels in San Fernando from 1963 to 1967, where they completed their high school education.
Lastly, from 1955 to 1963, they attended St. Cyprian School in Long Beach for their elementary education.
