Sam Thanapornsangsuth

Sam Thanapornsangsuth, Ed.D., serves as Faculty and Director of the Social Innovation Lab at Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation since December 2023. As a UNU-JSPS Researcher and Research Consultant at the United Nations University since November 2021, Sam contributes to the Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability. Previous roles include Adjunct Lecturer and JSPS Researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where Sam taught Education for Sustainable Development, and a tenure-track Lecturer at Chulalongkorn University, focusing on various education courses. Experience also includes research roles at Teachers College, Columbia University, and initiatives at Little Builders Social Enterprise, which emphasizes design thinking for young learners. Additionally, Sam has worked with notable organizations such as Explain Everything Inc., Sesame Workshop, and WNET New York Public Media, and holds doctoral and master's degrees from Columbia University, along with a bachelor's degree from Chulalongkorn University.
