The firm is specialized in performing financial, economic and market advisory services. It is a WBG and Kfw registered consultant. 

HLB Makary joined HLB Global in 2012. The firm is one of three firms  representing HLB Global in Egypt forming HLB Egypt. The other 2 firms add tax advisory, auditing and other accounting services to the list of services, while HLB Global adds sustianable and IT advisory services through presence in 55 Countries through 1,000+ offices and 50,000+ professionals around the globe. HLB Global is established in 1969 and is ranked 8th globally according to IAB annual survey in 2025. 

HLB Makary deals with international organizations such as the World Bank, IFC, UNDP, UNIDO, USAID, GIZ, KFW, government agencies & ministries as well as prominent private sector investors and corporate companies.
