Matthew Morrish is an experienced architect who has worked for various architectural firms and universities. Their expertise lies in conservation and adaptive re-use of historic structures. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Associate Architect at HLM Architects. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Senior Architect at Richard Parr Associates and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. Matthew also has experience as a Senior Lecturer at Bath Spa University and London South Bank University. With a strong educational background in architecture, Matthew has obtained multiple degrees from prestigious institutions such as London South Bank University, Architectural Association, and Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.

With a design philosophy that puts people at its centre, it is our mission to delight clients and users, making memorable places which evoke positive emotional responses. We strive to create buildings that respond to their context and climate, as well as our client’s budget, and we consequently don’t have a ‘signature-style’. Every design evolves as a solution to a unique set of challenges that we approach with ‘signature-thinking’ – this is a creative, thoughtful, and fun process that allows the character and ideas of each project to flourish in their own delightful way - we call this ‘Thoughtful Design’.
