William Carson has extensive experience in development, finance, and investment management. Currently serving as a Development Advisor at Rugby School Japan since September 2023, William is focused on the Corporate Contribution Program and partnerships development. Previously, William held the position of Senior Associate at HLS Global and was the Head of Development and Finance Director at The British School in Tokyo for over 24 years, where responsibilities included accounting management and CCP tax program operations. Early career roles included Director of the UK98 Festival Office in Tokyo for the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Investment Manager at the Industrial Development Board for Northern Ireland, and Financial Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick. William's educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business from Ulster Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, Business, and Sciences from Queen's University Belfast.
