HMG Capital is a Hive Media Group company that buys and invests in interesting media businesses. We use an uncomplicated, transparent buying process with no confusing jargon to trip sellers up. Instead of long, wordy documents with tons of clauses, we use a simple term sheet with a few pages.

We understand how frustrating months of negotiations can get so we’ve developed streamlined processes that allow us to determine a valuation in weeks instead of months.

Our years of experience have allowed us to gain an analytical and profitable approach to publishing. We’ve proven we know how to grow media companies while staying true to the brand.

We keep sellers in the loop and are entirely transparent from our earliest discussions, during the valuation process, and right through to closing.

We understand that great businesses are operated by great people. We work to maintain the operating teams, culture, and nuances of the business.
