Mark Forbes

Mark Forbes is an experienced software lead and senior service engineer with extensive expertise in drilling equipment and automation systems. Currently at MHWirth since June 2007, Mark oversees software lead projects, including work on the West Mira drilling package at Hyundai shipyard in South Korea. Previous roles include senior service engineer positions at Aker Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed software leadership in various projects such as the Dalian Developer project and Norbe 9 project. Mark's background includes overseeing teams of engineers, commissioning complex systems, and practical work as a rig electrician. Mark holds a City & Guilds degree in Electrical Installation from Kingsway Technical College and additional qualifications from Morgan Academy.
