Alan Owens

Alan Owens serves as the Head of Legal at H&MV Engineering since July 2021, having previously held positions as Legal Counsel at VISTRA and as an Associate Solicitor at Maples Group. With expertise in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and corporate restructurings, Alan has a strong background in advising on commercial matters such as contracts and intellectual property. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Officer and Senior Policy Adviser at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland, and a trainee position within the same department. Alan's educational background includes a Master of Laws in International Law from Leiden University and a Law and French degree from University College Cork, complemented by a Diplôme en Droit Français from the University of Montpellier.
