Matt Derrett

Matt Derrett has extensive experience in the construction and facilities management sectors, holding various commercial director and manager roles since the early 1990s. Notably, Matt served as Commercial Director at Extentia Group from September 2019 to August 2022 and at ISG from January 2021 to September 2024. Previous experience includes significant positions at Carillion, where Matt oversaw major construction projects across multiple sectors and led the integration of the domestic energy sector post-acquisition. Additionally, Matt worked as Commercial Director at ENGIE – UK & Ireland, focusing on departmental development and large FM bids. Matt's earlier roles include Commercial Manager at TOTTY CONSTRUCTION LIMITED and Lendlease, contributing to landmark projects such as the UK’s first primary schools PFI and the conversion of Finningley Airport. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University and ongoing studies through NEBOSH.
