Tom Ransome is a Civil Project Engineer at H&MV Engineering, overseeing civil construction on German sites since July 2023. Previously, Tom managed workshop operations and a large team of volunteers at Rückenwind-Fahrräder für Flüchtlinge e.V., providing repaired bicycles to refugees in Berlin. As an Installation Specialist for INFARM from March 2022 to March 2023, Tom played a key role in installing hydroponic indoor vertical farms across Europe. Earlier roles included serving as an Integration and Special Needs Educator at Sara Bilingual Kindergarten and various positions at GHD, including Delivery Manager and Design Manager for significant rail projects in Victoria, Australia. Tom began the career as a Bridge Engineer, contributing to major infrastructure projects and earning a Bachelor of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (Hons) from RMIT University.
