Caitlin Murphy

Dr. Caitlin Murphy is the Clinical Laboratory Director of HNL Lab Medicine.

Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM).  Prior to joining HNL, Dr. Murphy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Pathology and Microbiology and served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Microbiology at Nebraska Medicine. During this time, she also served as the CLIA Director for the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory.

Dr. Murphy received her Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Iowa. She completed her clinical fellowship in Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Public Health Laboratory and is a member of the American Society of Microbiology (ASM), College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).
