Cydney Rooy

Cydney Rooy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2019, they worked as a Sales Advisor at The Body Shop, where they remained until 2022. In 2021, they joined Seed Heritage as a Sales Assistant for a brief period of five months. Later in 2022, they worked as a Parliamentary Officer at New Zealand Parliament for a three-month duration. Additionally, they were a Business Support Coordinator at Te Manatū Waka - Ministry of Transport (New Zealand) from August to November 2022. They have also held marketing roles, starting as a Marketing Assistant and later becoming a Marketing Coordinator at Hnry, starting in December 2022 and February 2023, respectively.

Cydney Rooy attended Massey University from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design (Honours) degree with a focus on Fashion/Apparel Design. In addition to their degree, they also received a Certificate of Excellence in Branding from Massey University in June 2020. Cydney Rooy further expanded their expertise in the fashion industry by obtaining the Hokonui Heritage Precinct Avant Garde Section certification from the Hokonui Fashion Design Awards in July 2021.
