Fred Vesci

Resident Engineer

Fred Vesci has over two decades of experience in engineering, primarily with HNTB since June 1999. As a Resident Engineer, Fred acted as the owner's representative for the Charlotte Area Transit System's Blue Line Extension program, successfully resolving various challenges related to safety, technical aspects, quality, cost, and schedule, ultimately closing the program under budget. Prior roles include Bridge Engineer/Squad Leader, where Fred managed design and construction for projects involving the Delaware River Port Authority and other organizations, and Bridge Engineer/Task Leader, focusing on deliverables for significant transportation clients. Earlier in his career, Fred served as an Assistant Project Manager at MADISON CONCRETE Corp, managing mid-rise projects, and held internships at Philadelphia Streets Department and Burns Engineering, where Fred gained foundational experience in bridge design and civil engineering. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University and is currently pursuing coursework for a Master's in Engineering Management with a focus on Large Scale Civil Infrastructure.
