Gevin McDaniel, P.E. is an accomplished engineer and inventor with extensive experience in structural design and roadway criteria. Gevin worked as a Structures Design Engineer at multiple firms, including AECOM and Corven Engineering, before founding McDaniel Engineering, Inc., where they provided specialty engineering services. In their role at the Florida Department of Transportation, Gevin led various sections focused on design standards and criteria for the state's transportation system. Currently, Gevin is the President of SpanPath, LLC and serves as a Senior Technical Advisor at HNTB. Gevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University.
