James Long

James Long, PE, serves as the Aviation Infrastructure Group Director and Vice President at HNTB, leading the management and growth of the Aviation Infrastructure Practice in the West Division. With extensive experience in civil engineering, James has previously held roles including Senior Project Manager, Associate Vice President, and Los Angeles Office Operations Manager, focusing on airport projects across the Southwest. Responsibilities have included overseeing airfield improvements, terminal developments, and managing office operations to ensure strategic growth. James began at HNTB as an Aviation Planning Intern and holds a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
