Jim Ray

Jim Ray is the current Corporate President at HNTB. Prior to this, they were a Partner at KPMG from January 2012 to December 2016. Jim has also served as the Deputy General Counsel at the Office of Management and Budget from January 2008 to December 2009, and the Deputy Administrator at the Federal Highway Administration from April 2006 to October 2008. From February 2005 to April 2006, they served as the Counselor to the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation. In February 2019, they founded and became the President of RayStrategies, LLC, a position they held until September 2019. Jim Ray began their career as an Associate at Alston & Bird from August 2001 to August 2003.

Jim Ray received their Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
