John Burton

John Burton, PE, PMP, PTOE, ENV SP, currently serves as the Transportation Design Group Director at HNTB, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they worked as the Transportation Design Department Manager at HNTB from 2021 to 2025 and as a Senior Roadway Engineer at Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. from 2008 to 2021. John began their career at Jenson Civil Construction as a Cost Engineer in 1996 before transitioning to a Roadway Engineer role at URS Corporation, An AECOM Company, from 1997 to 2008. They earned an Associate of Arts in Engineering from Edison State Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
