John Dvorak is a seasoned professional in civil engineering, currently serving as Bridge Project Manager II at HNTB since November 2022. With a robust background at FIGG as a Senior Bridge Engineer from July 2001 to November 2022, John has extensive experience in bridge design and construction. Educationally, John holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University, where involvement as a Graduate Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant included research on composite sandwich materials and instruction in the Strength of Materials Laboratory. Additionally, John contributed to safety education as an instructor for the Southern Illinois University Motorcycle Rider Program and gained early engineering experience as an Engineering Technician I at the Illinois Department of Transportation.
