John Schlick, PE, PMP, is currently the Senior Program Director and Rail Systems Manager at HNTB, where they lead Rail Systems projects and manage the OCS group in the West. Previously, Schlick served as the Northwest Regional Manager for Rail Systems at Parsons Corporation from 2016 to 2019, and as a Senior Rail Systems Engineer at Mott MacDonald from 2002 to 2016. Their career in rail systems engineering began at Washington Group International, where they worked as an OCS Engineer from 1999 to 2002. Schlick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
