Matt Riegel

Matt Riegel, PE, BC GE, is a Senior Vice President and Fellow at HNTB, where they have played a crucial role in expanding the geotechnical practice within the Northeast Division. Starting with a small team, Matt has contributed to the growth of the department to nearly 50 engineers, delivering essential services for significant infrastructure projects across the region. They also serve as a Senior Adjunct II at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Lecturer at Rutgers University, sharing their passion for geotechnical engineering with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. With a background that includes experience at various engineering firms, Matt is dedicated to fostering collaboration and technical excellence in infrastructure development.
