Water Resources Engineer I

Maxwell Pearson is a Water Resources Engineer I at HNTB, with responsibilities including oversight of the Jim Creek LWD Restoration project and support for design and project engineers. Previously, Pearson served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Environmental Fluid Mechanics course at the University of Washington, providing academic support through office hours and interactive workshops. As Co-Captain and Construction Management Lead for the University of Washington Concrete Canoe team, Pearson led the team to national championships and significantly increased club membership through outreach activities. Additional experience includes a Project Engineer Internship at Lease Crutcher Lewis, where project coordination and subcontract management were key tasks, as well as seasonal work at the Port of Edmonds and trail maintenance with the Student Conservation Association. Pearson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington.
