Michael Brüning

Michael Brüning is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in water resources and drainage design. Currently serving as Senior Project Director for Water Resources at HNTB, Michael previously held roles including Water Resources Group Leader at T.Y. Lin International and Engineering Project Manager at Jacobs, where responsibilities included managing drainage design for the California High Speed Rail Project. Michael's career began at the City of Tucson as an Associate Engineer, progressing through positions at Earth Tech, AECOM, and EEC, focusing on civil engineering design and hydrology studies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.
