Hobbyco has been part of Australia’s story since 1935, inspiring generations with toys, models, games, and collectibles that spark imagination and deliver serious fun. Celebrating 90 years in 2025, we remain proudly family-owned and continue to lead the industry with one of the most diverse ranges in the country.

Our flagship store in Sydney’s historic Queen Victoria Building spans 600+ sqm and is often called the largest hobby shop in the Southern Hemisphere. Alongside stores at Macquarie, Rhodes, Liverpool, and Burwood, Hobbyco has become a must-see destination for locals and tourists alike.

With over 40,000 products, our range covers model kits, trains, puzzles, die-cast cars and aviation, board games, LEGO, anime and pop culture collectibles (Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Star Wars), RC vehicles, and creative arts & crafts. From nostalgic classics like Wilesco steam engines and Hornby trains to the latest innovations from Bandai Hobby (Gunpla), Tamiya, and Ravensburger, we offer something for every generation.

Through Hobbyco Imports, we proudly distribute world-leading brands across Australia, including: Aoshima, Bandai Hobby, Bandai Shokugan, CaDA, Daron, Eastcolight, Gemini Jets, GodHand, GSI Creos, Hasegawa, Herpa, Hobby Master, Kotobukiya, Megahouse, Mi Toys, Mineshima, Ningbo, Noris Games, OKTO Sensory Art, Platz, Postage Stamp, PPC, Realtoy, Skymarks, Sparmax, Tamashii Nations, Toytech, VP Leonhardy, and Zilipoo.

Hobbyco continues to evolve with a strong online store, marketplace partnerships, and immersive events such as SMASH, Gunpla Expo and the upcoming Gundam Base Pop-Up World Tour Sydney in collaboration with Bandai Namco Asia.

For 90 years, Hobbyco has been “For People Who Take Their Fun Seriously” – and we’re just getting started
