Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt possesses extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as Head of Corporate R&D at Hochland Group since September 2009. Prior roles include Head of R&D at Hofmeister Unternehmensgruppe from 2005 to 2008 and National Development Manager at UNILEVER DACH between 2003 and 2005. Michael's career at Unilever spans from 1990 to 2003, where positions included Production Manager, Development Department Manager, and Product Development Manager. Michael began as a Research Scientist at Unilever Research Vlaardingen and previously completed a traineeship at Unilever Deutschland. Academically, Michael holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology and a Dipl. Chem. in Chemistry, both from Technische Universität Braunschweig.
