Jared Collins has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Chief Deputy of Law Enforcement Operations at The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office since October 2019, after holding the role of Sergeant in the Court Services Division. Prior to this, Jared served in various capacities at the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office from September 1992 to January 2021, including Sergeant for SWAT, Patrol, and Training, as well as Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division. Additionally, Jared has contributed to law enforcement education as an Instructor at Hocking College since 2010 and held the position of Senior Police Training Associate with International Police Training and Assessment Services from 2012 to November 2016. Jared has also supervised the Street Crimes unit at the Fairfield Hocking Major Crimes Unit from August 2013 to August 2016. Educational accolades include completion of the FBI LEEDA Trilogy program in Law Enforcement Executive from 2019 to 2020 and obtaining a Law Enforcement Certification from Polk State College in 2012.
