Camilo Jimenez is an accomplished Reservoir Geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently at Hocol since March 2022, Camilo designs field development plans for gas fields in the Lower Magdalena Valley, focusing on tight sand reservoirs. Previous roles include positions at Oxy, where Camilo created stratigraphic models and interpreted 3D seismic data, and Ecopetrol, where detailed stratigraphic analysis was utilized for infill horizontal well proposals. Early career experience includes work as a Jr Development Geologist at CEPSA and internships involving seismic interpretation and geological analysis. Camilo holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geosciences from IFP School and a Geology degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
