Hoddle Melbourne is being built to give first-year international students in Melbourne the one thing the system has never consistently provided — real, honest guidance from people who have actually been through it.
Every year, thousands of international students arrive in Melbourne equipped with ambition and ability, but without a roadmap. The challenge is rarely academic. It is navigating an unfamiliar system, building genuine connections, and finding the right guidance at the right time. The support exists on paper. But it was not built for them.
Hoddle is changing that.
We connect first-year international students with high-achieving peers who have faced the same challenges, made the same mistakes, and found their way through — students who can offer the kind of honest, practical guidance that no pamphlet or helpline ever could.
We are not launched yet. We are currently in the discovery phase — speaking directly with students, listening to their real experiences, and building from the ground up based on what they actually need.
Because the best solutions start with the right questions. And we are asking them first.
Podcast: Our student stories are already being told. Visit our YouTube channel for honest conversations with international students who have figured out Australia — and want to help you do the same.
