William Wightman

William (Bill) Wightman is currently the Head of Operations for Höegh Autoliners, overseeing the Farrell Lines business in the Middle East. Based in Dubai since 2010, they previously worked as a General Manager at Maersk Line from 2004 to 2010, managing US Flag operations in the region. Prior to that, Wightman was with P&O Nedlloyd from 1995 to 2004, where they were responsible for services in the Red Sea countries and managed the Jeddah Agency. Wightman’s career in the US Flag business began with P&O Containers, accumulating approximately twelve years of experience operating from Saudi Arabia. They completed their high school education at Coatbridge High School, focusing on subjects including Mathematics, Statistics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography.
