Jesus B. is a Senior Electric Powertrain Controls Engineer at Hofer Powertrain since March 2018, specializing in the development of embedded software for inverters and hybrid automatic transmissions, as well as creating simulation toolchains for electrified powertrains. Alongside this role, Jesus has been a Project Lead for Transmission Controls at Ricardo since February 2015, delivering transmission control systems for heavy-duty vehicles in the Asian market, and has provided technical leadership and support to other engineers. Previous experience includes positions as a Hybrid Advanced Controls Engineer and Product Development Graduate Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, a CAE Engineer at Cosworth, and an Engineering Tutor at Syracuse University. Academic credentials include an MSc in Aerospace Dynamics from Cranfield University and a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by a year abroad in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Syracuse University.
