Dr. Marie Thomson is a European Patent Attorney and UPC Representative at HOFFMANN EITLE since 2023. Previously, they held various roles, including European Patent Attorney and Patentassessorin at the same firm in 2022, and interned at the Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt in 2009. Dr. Thomson completed their PhD in Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh from 2015 to 2018 and earned a Master's degree from the University of St. Andrews between 2009 and 2014. They also gained practical experience as an R&D Research Chemist during placements at BASF and Klüber Lubrication Deutschland in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
