Peter Oeser

Peter Oeser has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Peter is currently serving as the Head of Accounting & Controlling at Höganäs AB since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis at Birla Carbon from April 2015 to January 2021. Before that, they held the positions of Kaufmännischer Leiter / Deputy Managing Director at Columbian Carbon Deutschland G.M.B.H. from November 2011 to March 2015 and Deputy Financial Controller from June 2003 to October 2011. Peter also worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Columbian Chemicals Europa GmbH from March 2001 to May 2003. In the early years of their career, they served as a Software Consultant at DITEC from July 1999 to December 2000 and as a Junior Tax Consultant at Steuerberater / Wirtschaftsprüfer Oeser from November 1997 to July 1999.

Peter Oeser obtained a High School Diploma from Chico High School in 1987. Peter then pursued their higher education at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they obtained a Diplom-Ökonom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from 1990 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Peter Oeser also obtained various certifications in SAP, accounting, and international accounting from institutions such as SAP, Haufe Akademie, and Akademie für Internationale Rechnungslegung Prof. Dr. Leibfried GmbH.
