Douglas Barraza

Douglas Barraza, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is the Principal and Regional Leader of Sports+Recreation+Entertainment at HOK, where they have focused on design for sports, recreation, and wellness for over 35 years. With a portfolio rich in collegiate projects, Douglas has contributed to numerous award-winning facilities aimed at enhancing student life on campus. They hold a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and have held key roles at various architectural firms, including DLR Group, 360 Architecture, and SmithGroup. Douglas is also an active participant in industry organizations, frequently presenting at national conferences.
