Technology is reshaping our world and we get to be there every step of the way. We are communications strategists, creative visionaries and problem solvers working with innovative startups to bring new ideas to life. Our approach to public relations goes beyond the pitch -- we produce content, events, and industry conferences. Occasionally, we are known to be involved in grassroots, guerilla marketing campaigns ;)

// About Hokku PR

Founded in 2014, our firm’s experience spans the last decade and a half of tech innovation and culture. We have served as a strategic communications partner for some of the web’s most popular trailblazers and category creators, working alongside visionary leaders and teams to drive new trends and narratives that shape our world. Whether it’s pioneering the category of on-demand therapy, introducing the first-ever space-sharing marketplaces, bringing robots and Disney characters to life with computer vision and AI technology, or creating an entirely new version of the internet and global economy that’s underpinned by decentralized technologies, our team’s delivery, results, and execution remains unmatched and unrivaled.

// What does ‘hokku’ mean?

Hokku is the opening stanza of a Japanese poem called the renga. It’s a collaborative poem with alternating stanzas linked in succession by multiple poets. In the opening stanza, the hokku sets the tone, environment and context for all the verses to follow.
