Freddy Torres

Freddy Torres has over 20 years of work experience. In 1998, Freddy started as a Socio y Gerente General at El Rincón del Caballista, a family business that is a country club with a restaurant, disco, parking, recreational zones and sportive area. Freddy managed 90 workers and was the manager of the club from 2000. In 2009, Freddy became a Sales Supervisor at The Phone House Telecom GmbH, where they focused on store sales-targets, sales of mobile and fixed line contracts for personal and business customers in La Maquinista shopping mall. Freddy achieved a 5th place in sales statistics on a national level. In 2013, Freddy joined Airbnb as a Regional Acquisition Specialist, working to increase the presence and offer of Airbnb in Spain. Freddy made direct sales calls to potential hosts and was the point of contact for new hosts. In 2015, Freddy took on the role of Google Technical Support Advisor Spain, providing basic to moderately complex support to customers on all topics. In 2019, Freddy became the Acquisition Manager & Co-founder of HolaPlace, an online marketplace for end-to-end event planning for corporate and private clients.

Freddy Torres has a diverse educational background. Freddy completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2014, a Master of Technology (MTech) from the Escola d'Informàtica i Oficis in 2013, an Ingeniero Técnico from the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Industrial in 2006, and a formador de cooperativas from the Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos Occidentales in 2005.
