Stéphane Nicoud's work experience begins in 1994 as a Site Engineer at Soletanche Bachy. From 1996 to 1999, they served as the Head of Regional Road Division at the ministère de l'écologie. Stéphane then joined the European Commission as an Adviser to the Minister of Transport from 1999 to 2003. In 2004, Nicoud became the Manager of Business Development and M&A at Tarmac, where they focused on merger and acquisition projects. Stéphane joined EUPAVE, the European Concrete Paving Association, in 2013 as President. Since 2007, they have held various roles at Holcim, including the Lead Consultant for Customer Excellence, Global Head of Large Construction Projects, Global Head of International Key Accounts, and currently serves as the Global Strategic Projects & Accounts Lead.
Stéphane Nicoud received an MBA from INSEAD in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an MEng in Civil Engineering from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, which they attended from 1993 to 1996. Stéphane completed their undergraduate studies in Mathematics at École Polytechnique from 1990 to 1993, earning an MSc degree.
